Sumitomo manufactures the Model T-400S is an easy-to-use splicer for FTTH applications. Its compact design and unique technology help

handle all types of fiber cables used in FTTH, such as Drop Cable, 2-3mm Cord or 900/250um buffer fiber.

A splice cycle time of 7 seconds and a warm-up cycle time of 24 seconds improve splicing efficiency and productivity, reducing time and labor costs.

Sumitomo’s advanced active V-groove technology helps align fibers even down to 125um gaps.

The T-400S’s internal memory can store up to 10,000 splice data and 100 splice images, and its capability of 150 Splicing programs and 50 heating programs provides a wide range of choices/editing to the user.

The T-400S has high environmental resistance with IPx5 dust resistance and IPx1 water resistance. The machine is shock-resistant for drops from 76cm on the lower surface.

Its 3200mAh battery can complete 200Splice/Heating operations per charge cycle, and the Electrodes can be used up to 6000Arc Discharges.
